1996 Haven Needlework Group wm

1996 The Haven needlecraft group produced a banner containing 13 scenes from village history. The group included Vera Wright, Hazel Sharpe, Barbara Nicholls, Norma Pass, Christine Baker, Eileen Newham, Gladys Arthington, Cath Fry, Olive Owen, Muriel Moss and Faith Jones. Not pictured were Doreen Cooper and Veronica Wilkinson.

1932. Wedding of Tommy Arthington and Gladys (Brown). The reception was held in the old army hut behind St Andrew’s Church which was used until the Church Hall was built a few years later. The hut was then sold to New Whittington scouts for £50
